Three friends founded the Claw in jest and fun in the fall of 1999 around a campfire. The insignia, a emblazoned ring of claws, is a symbol of our passion and willingness to protect the community that is within our ranks. Thirteen claws surrounded a single larger claw represent the group’s gateways into the Claw, The Threontine Council.

The group’s mission is to respect the The Claw Code of Honor, respect the vendors and entertainers of fair, and set forth to promote the world of renaissance fairs. Our objectives are fulfilled by developing a fellowship of likeminded individuals that enjoy that benefit of company, security, and comradely of renaissance fair enthusiast.

I could go on and on about the wonderful experiences and exceptional character of Claw; however, all of which is best experienced. We welcome all to come and share fair with us. Get to know us and perhaps grow as members. Our mantra is one decides to be Claw and one decides to leave. One’s actions are the demonstration of their decision.
