Induction Sword
This sword has a history of tradition and ceremony. It is a one-of-a-kind, mass produced and irreplaceable heirloom. (Unless we forget it then any other sword or sharp item will suffice.) It is an invaluable, $20 symbol. It serves as the pinnacle of our induction ceremony where at I use it as a leaning post or dramatic prop. Just as with all other situations The Claw approaches it with humor and fun. We do not get wrapped up in the showmanship of ceremony. We deliberately keep it fun and lighthearted.

What we do take seriously is the friendships we forge, the fellowship we weave and the code we honor.

Code of Honor

  • Stand before your brothers and sisters in honor and hold the unity with pride
  • Keep at heart the will of The Claw
  • Forever shall honesty keep your mind, mouth and hand
  • Support the needed, defend the defenseless and strengthen the weak
  • Walk forth with pride and stand strong the bindings for The Claw
  • Do not pass on anything you have not personally witnessed or verified. Never give unproven hearsay the weight of truth. Never reveal the secrets entrusted to you by kin, guild, or friend without permission. Possession of a wagging tongue marks you as a fool.
  • What you have HOLD! Let no one take from you, your family or guild that which is rightfully and legally yours.
  • Offer forgiveness only to those who are truly repentant of wrongs committed. Offer forgiveness with a joyous heart, for to do so grudgingly is not forgiveness but deceit.
  • Be known your place of rank. Keep fast the words of your oath
  • Always remember that the fury and excitement of the moment can play havoc with the truth. To keep one's head in any situation is a virtue.
  • When you gain power or authority, use it carefully and with wisdom.
  • Pledge friendship and your assistance only to those who are worthy and honorable. Denounce those who bare false allegiance of The Claw.
  • The laws of the land should be obeyed whenever possible and within reason for the protection of your family and guild.
  • Dignity, a gracious manner and a good humor are to be admired and cultivated.
